Research Assistant, Education Policy

AEI's education policy team is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to support scholars working on K-12 and higher education reform — one of the most active and impactful policy research teams in Washington.

Responsibilities:

- Support research on school choice, higher education accountability, and education workforce issues

- Review data, literature, and state/federal policy developments

- Assist with drafting policy papers, op-eds, and blog posts

- Help coordinate events, briefings, and scholar outreach

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in education, public policy, economics, or related field (recent graduates welcome)

- Strong writing and organizational skills

- Commitment to education reform and expanding educational opportunity

- Able to start as soon as possible
