About This Role
The Heritage Foundation's Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies seeks a Research Associate to support its work on constitutional law, judicial selection, and the rule of law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on constitutional, statutory, and regulatory issues
- Assist senior fellows in drafting policy papers, legal commentaries, and op-eds
- Monitor judicial nominations and court decisions relevant to Center priorities
- Support events, briefings, and outreach related to the Center's work
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in political science, law, or related field required; J.D. or current law student a plus
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Demonstrated commitment to constitutional originalism and the rule of law
- Familiarity with federal courts and judicial selection process preferred
