Associate Editor, City Journal

City Journal — one of America's premier public-interest magazines — is seeking an Associate Editor to support its editorial team and help maintain the publication's high standards across digital and print.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct first-round edits on City Journal articles for style, clarity, and factual accuracy

- Fact-check articles and verify sources

- Assist with headline writing, web publishing, and social media promotion of articles

- Correspond with contributors and manage editorial workflow

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, political science, or related field

- 1–3 years of editorial or writing experience

- Excellent editing and proofreading skills

- Familiarity with conservative policy ideas and public affairs
